Passing the Challenge

Reading the conditions before you pay for them.

A funded account is simulated capital with a performance agreement attached. You are not buying capital, you are buying a set of conditions, and the only question worth asking is whether your trading can live inside them.

This is lesson five, and it is arithmetic rather than shopping. Fourteen pages built to be filled in with a firm’s terms page open next to you and your own journal on the other side. Most evaluation attempts do not pass. This is how you work out whether yours would.

Inside the workbook

  • ✦What a funded account actually is, and what it is not
  • ✦The six conditions that decide it, starting with the one that matters most
  • ✦Static against trailing drawdown, and why the floor moving changes everything
  • ✦Target divided by drawdown, the ratio nobody checks
  • ✦Your own four numbers, and what they rule out before you spend anything
  • ✦A scorecard for three accounts side by side, and five checks that kill a bad one
  • ✦Sizing for the limits, and a plan to pass written before you start
